"Every cloud has a silver lining"

In all my life I never remember that I said that life is easy.

To be honest with you guys, I sometimes act as if it is or take the easy way out of things because that is the only way I can protect my heart from hurting or even from breaking.

A lot of things can happen in one’s life that makes one lose all hope. Not going to lie I too find it very hard to hope. But I do like to put faith in the situation. When speaking about faith it’s not the religious part of one’s life but it’s when it comes to putting every drop of this ... well … magical mixture in your life. A mixture is a combination of different ingredients that when they are put together, they become something new, something incredible. And I like to believe that faith is a combination of a bit of hope with a lot of trust and love.

Yeah…Love… What a funny word. We hear it a lot in our daily lives. We might say it a lot too; to our parents, children, partners, family or friends. But what is it? I’d be lying if I said that I’ve figured it out because every day I learn its value a bit more. I even value it a bit more. I discover its true meaning a bit more. And I understand certain decisions I made. And, also understand more how sometimes the hardest choice is the right one. A lot of people told me to always follow my heart but take my head with me as they together will help me make the best decisions!

What is 'trust' you say?... Hmm…Well, it’s not an easy thing to have especially if it has been broken. But sometimes we look at trust in only one way. It’s not just the trust you put in a specific person but the trust that you put in a troubling situation. Trusting that by time and prayer things will fall into place. When it comes to this a lot of people told me to follow my gut feeling as that can never do me wrong. I can always trust it.

Now what I say is that all of what I was taught is correct. But with all of this inside our heads sometimes we let fear come in the way and might even ruin the things we care about. Like for example if you are given a vase by someone you care deeply about, you might decide to leave it in the box and store it somewhere, rather than put it on display just for it not to break. But here’s the deal, if you keep it inside the box you can never see its value. Yeah, it might break, but it might not, and if it does then you will know its value even more. Sometimes we learn things when, unfortunately, it’s too late but let that be a lesson for next time. You should never give up! You see this is where faith comes in! If you take a leap of faith it might not go your way, but you’ll learn from the experience. People also told and showed me how faith, trust, and love are experiences which you share, and I couldn’t agree more.

Now personally my idea is that yeah follow your head and your gut but listen to your heart because it will tell you things nothing and no one will ever tell you. Take a leap of faith because the beauty is that you’ll be focusing on the moment, with the lessons of the past and though little as can be, the hope you have for tomorrow. If you keep on protecting your heart, you’ll never find its true value. Sometimes you must stop waiting for the rainbow after the storm but rather search for the sun behind all those grey, ugly and dark clouds. As every cloud has a silver lining. Stop waiting for the perfect moments in your life, just take a moment and make that perfect. So, take a leap of faith and never jump to conclusions because you can never know what great things are heading your way!
